The Firm

The Firm, founded by Maître Mathilde Silvestre, assists individuals, companies, non-profit organisations and institutions with their immigration law matters: applications for visas, residence permits and work permits, appeals against decisions of consulates and prefectures, regularisation, naturalisation, compensation claims…

It draws on a network of partner lawyers to provide comprehensive support and a joined-up approach to complex situations, particularly in criminal law, employment law, family law, tax law and business law.

Founding attorney

Mathilde Silvestre

A graduate of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (« Juriste Européen » programme), King's College London and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Maître Mathilde Silvestre was sworn in on 24 January 2024. She has since practised exclusively in human rights and asylum law.

After working with the organisations Sherpa and ECCHR, at the Paris Administrative Court of Appeal and at a Paris law firm practising immigration law, she chose to dedicate her practice to this field.

She offers a humane and pragmatic approach, covering both advice and litigation, to support foreign nationals in France in their procedures and their plans.

A committed lawyer, Maître Mathilde Silvestre has also trained alongside several non-profit organisations, through her professional and volunteer experience in human rights and immigration law. This experience gives her a better understanding of the actors involved in this field, lets her work alongside them, and has shaped an approach to immigration law that is both critical and humane.
